About Security Alerts
Amazon cares about your privacy and security. We may occasionally send you Security Alerts about important changes to your account, or if we notice new activity that we want to confirm with you.
If you get a Security Alert about activity you don’t recognize, click or tap the link in your email or SMS inbox, and select Deny or let us know if it was not you. You can also respond to the push notification received on your shopping app. This will help reset your Amazon password immediately to secure your account.
If you are not able to sign in to Amazon because you don’t have access to the email or mobile phone on your account anymore, use the self-service recovery instructions presented or contact Customer Service for help restoring access.
