What Do the Lights on Your Amazon Smart Sticky Note Printer Mean?
The lights on your Amazon Smart Sticky Note Printer are how the device communicates its status.

Blue
- Before setup is complete: If you haven’t completed the set up of your printer, a blue light means that the printer is ready for Alexa to discover and complete set up. To complete set up, say "Discover my printer" to a nearby Alexa-enabled device.
- After setup is complete: If your printer is already set up, a blue light means that your printer is ready to use.
Orange
- Your printer is in setup mode. Try using the Alexa app to connect your printer to your Wi-Fi network. Select Devices
in the Alexa app
. Add your printer by selecting the select Plus
icon.
Flashing Orange
- Your printer is trying to connect to the Internet. To check if your Wi-Fi network is connected, press the LED action button two times. A note will print with the internet connection status of your printer.
Red
- A paper error. Open the printer lid and make sure there's paper in the printer. Check that the paper is loaded correctly, then close the lid.
Flashing Red
- The printer head is overheated. All printing stops until the printer cools down. The printer starts working automatically once it’s cooled down in about 30 seconds.
Note: If no light is showing on your printer, make sure that the printer is plugged in and the paper roll is loaded correctly.
