How is Calling and Messaging Different with Echo Loop?

Echo Loop uses data or minutes from your smartphone plan for calling.

Calls to phone numbers use your phone plan minutes.
Texts to phone numbers use your text allowance.
Alexa-to-Alexa calls use data from your mobile phone provider.
Program one speed-dial number that is called by double-pressing the action button.
You can't talk to Alexa during a call.

Note: Messaging, Inbound Drop In, and Do Not Disturb are not available with Echo Loop.
