Reload Your Balance

You can add funds directly to your account using Amazon Reload.

You can add funds to your account by doing one of the following:

  • To reload your balance:
    1. Go to Amazon Reload.
    2. Choose or enter the amount you want to add to your gift card balance.
    3. Click on Buy Now.
    4. Select a payment method.
    5. Click Place your Order.
  • To set up an Auto Reload when your balance drops to a certain threshold:
    1. Go to Amazon Reload.
    2. Select Reload type: Low Balance Auto-Reload.
    3. Enter the minimum amount to which your balance drops. You can choose to add a fixed amount to your Amazon Gift Card balance when that balance gets low (for example, when balance drops below $10, add a $100 Amazon Gift Card).
    4. Choose or enter the amount you want to add to your gift card balance.
    5. Click on Buy Now.
    6. Select a payment method.
    7. Click on Set up now.
  • To set up an Auto Reload on a schedule:
    1. Go to Amazon Reload.
    2. Select Reload type: Scheduled Auto-Reload.
    3. Select the frequency and enter a start date. You can choose to add a fixed amount to your gift card balance on a regular schedule (for example, monthly, weekly, daily).
    4. Choose or enter the amount you want to add to your gift card balance.
    5. Click on Buy Now.
    6. Select a payment method.
    7. Click on Set up now.
Note:
  • Reload Processing: When you reload your balance, you're purchasing a gift card for the selected amount, which we add to your gift card balance. The funds should be available within five minutes. In some cases, it may take up to four hours for your funds to be available. You can view the status of your reload by checking your Gift Card Balance.
  • Auto Reload when your balance drops: When your gift card balance drops to the selected minimum balance, we add the Auto Reload amount to your gift card balance. We charge the payment method you chose. Funds should be available within ten minutes but may not be available for up to four hours. You can view the status of your Auto Reload by visiting Your Orders.
  • Auto Reload on a schedule: We typically add Auto Reloads to your balance around noon PST on the scheduled date. In rare cases, funds may not be available for up to 24 hours. We charge your chosen payment method on each successful Auto Reload. You can view the status of your reload by visiting Your Orders.
