Use Responsibly. Read all instructions and safety information before use.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, OR OTHER INJURY OR DAMAGE.
Battery Safety
HANDLE WITH CARE. Your earbuds and charging case contain rechargeable lithium-ion polymer batteries and should be replaced only by a qualified service provider. Do not disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, shred or attempt to access the batteries. Do not modify or remanufacture the batteries, attempt to insert foreign objects into the batteries, or immerse or expose them to water or other liquids, expose to fire, explosion or other hazard. Only use the batteries for the system in which they are specified. Use of an unqualified battery or charger may present a risk of fire, explosion, leakage or other hazard. Do not short-circuit a battery or allow metallic conductive objects to come into contact with battery terminals.
Avoid dropping the earbuds or the charging case. If the earbuds or the charging case are dropped, especially on a hard surface, and the user suspects damage, do not attempt to repair and discontinue use. Contact Amazon Customer Service for assistance.
Your earbuds should only be charged using the charging case. The charging case uses the micro-USB cable provided and a USB charger or USB port that is compliant with safety standards, such as IEC 60950.
AVOID PROLONGED LISTENING AT HIGH VOLUME. Prolonged listening of the player at high volume can damage the ear of the user. To prevent possible hearing damage, users should not listen at high volume levels for long periods.
WATCH FOR SMALL PARTS. Your Echo Buds and accessories may present a choking hazard to small children. Keep them out of reach of small children.
Water Protection
Your earbuds and charging case are not waterproof and should not be immersed in water or other liquids. Your earbuds are sweat resistant and have been tested to comply with IEC 60529 IPX4. Your earbuds may experience temporary effects such as muffled audio from exposure to water.
If your earbuds are exposed to light rain or sweat, or if your charging case accidentally gets wet, follow these instructions:
If your earbuds are dropped or otherwise damaged, they may be compromised when exposed to water splashes or sweat.
For more information concerning care instructions of your device, please see www.amazon.com/devicesupport.
Cleaning and Handling Instructions; Skin Irritation
Clean your earbuds and charging case with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use water, chemicals, or abrasive materials. Remove any debris, such as earwax, that accumulates inside the ear tip area with a clean, dry, soft-bristled brush.
Prolonged use or improper maintenance of your earbuds may lead to skin irritation, ear infections, or injury. If skin, hearing or other problems develop, discontinue use of your earbuds immediately and consult a physician. To reduce the risk of electrostatic discharge upon contact with your earbuds or charging case, avoid such contact in extremely dry conditions.
Do not expose your earbuds or the charging case to extreme heat or cold. Store the earbuds and the charging case in a location where temperatures remain within the storage temperature ranges set forth in this guide. The earbuds, charging case, and the included accessories are designed to function within the operating temperature ratings set forth in this guide. If it is too hot or too cold, the earbuds and charging case may not turn on, charge, or function properly until they have warmed or cooled, as the case may be, to within the applicable temperature ratings.
Keep the earbuds, charging case, and cables in a well-ventilated area and away from heat sources, especially when in use or charging. Do not wear your earbuds in a way that impedes the earbuds’ ventilation, such as sleeping with the earbuds or covering them with ear muffs. If the earbuds become warm, take them off immediately and place them on a surface that is at room temperature.
Warning Against Use While Driving
Use caution when using your Echo Buds or Alexa while engaging in any activity that requires your full attention or ability to hear external sounds. Using earbuds while operating a vehicle is illegal in some areas. Be aware of and comply with all applicable laws regarding use of earbuds and electronic devices when operating machinery, driving or engaging in other activities.
Other Safety Considerations
Compliance Markings
Certification and other compliance markings for the earbuds and charging case are located on the charging case, in the user guide included with the product or on the packaging.

Using Your Device Around Other Electronic Devices
Your Echo Buds generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency (RF) energy and, if not used in accordance with its instructions, may cause interference to radio communications and electronic equipment. External RF signals may affect improperly installed or inadequately shielded electronic operating systems, entertainment systems, and personal medical devices. While most modern electronic equipment is shielded from external RF signals, if in doubt, check with the manufacturer. For personal medical devices (such as pacemakers and hearing aids), consult with your physician or the manufacturer to determine if they are adequately shielded from external RF signals. Your charging case also contains magnets. These electromagnetic fields and magnets may interfere with pacemakers, defibrillators, or other medical devices. Maintain a safe distance of separation between your medical device and the charging case. Consult your physician and medical device manufacturer for information specific to your medical device. Stop using earbuds and charging case if you suspect they are interfering with your pacemaker, defibrillator, or any other medical device.

However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
-Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
