Manage your purchasing limit
Account administrators can request a change to their Business Credit Account purchasing limit with the Manage purchasing limit tool.
The Manage purchasing limit tool shows your current Business Credit Account purchasing limit, current outstanding balance, current payment terms, and recent request statuses. Account administrators can use the tool to request changes to their purchasing limit for Business Credit Account.
To access the Manage purchasing limit tool:
- Select Business Settings under Your Account.
- Select Your invoices .
- Select the Manage purchasing limit button in the Available purchasing limit section.
You can also access the Manage purchasing limit tool from the Business Credit Account page on the Accounts Payable settings page.
To request a new purchasing limit, enter your desired amount and select Submit
You'll receive a confirmation email with your request status within 3 business days. Large increase requests may take up to 5 business days, depending on your country. You can also check the status of your recent purchasing limit request in the Manage purchasing limit tool.
Block or allow automated purchase limit increases
By default, Amazon may automatically increase your Business Credit Account purchasing limit when you qualify. Account administrators can turn off automated increases at any time.
To block automated line increases:
- Access the Manage purchasing limit tool (see prior steps).
- Under Allow automated line increases, select Edit.
- Select Off.
- Select Save.
To allow automated increases again, select Edit, select On, and select Save.
Note: Blocking automated increases does not affect your ability to submit a manual purchasing line request.
