Set Up Fire TV Recast

To complete setup, connect a digital antenna to your Fire TV Recast and follow the instructions in the Fire TV Recast & Blaster app.

To use Fire TV Recast, you need:

  • A digital HDTV antenna.
  • A compatible Fire TV device.
    Note: Fire TV Recast is not compatible with Fire TV Stick 4K Select.
  • Access to the Fire TV Recast & Blaster app on a mobile device.

Make sure that each device is on the same network and registered to the same Amazon account. You can register one Fire TV Recast per Amazon account.

To set up your Fire TV Recast:

  1. Connect a digital antenna to your Fire TV Recast. For best performance, place your antenna as high up in your home as possible. Try placing it against a window or outward facing wall that's away from nearby towers or buildings.
  2. Plug your Fire TV Recast and power adapter into a power outlet.
    Note: Your Fire TV Recast and antenna don't connect directly to your TV, so you can place it anywhere in your home. Keep your Fire TV Recast indoors in a cool, dry place with proper ventilation.
  3. Open the Fire TV Recast & Blaster app and sign in to your Amazon account.
  4. Select Set Up New Device, then Set Up a Fire TV Recast.
  5. Follow the app instructions to connect to the Internet and complete device registration.
  6. Find your available channels and channel guide in the Live tab or DVR tab at the top of your Fire TV home screen.

Note:
