What are Camera Events?

Alexa lets you know when your compatible smart camera or video doorbell detects a person or package.

Turn on Camera Events in the Alexa app and select the compatible smart cameras or video doorbells that you want notifications from.

When a person or package is detected, Alexa can:

Show the live view from your Camera on your Echo Show Devices, Fire Tablet, and Fire TV.
Use voice to notify you on Alexa built-in devices.
Send a push notification to your mobile phone.
