Reset Your Echo Loop
If you want to pair your Echo Loop with a new phone, or it has become unresponsive, factory reset your device.
Note: Having trouble with your Echo Loop? Try restarting it first: Double click the action button and hold for three seconds. You'll feel a vibration when the device powers off. Click the action button once to turn it back on.
If restarting your device doesn't work, try the following steps:
- Open the Alexa App
. - Select Devices
. - Select your Echo Loop, then select Deregister.
- Unpair/Forget your Echo Loop from your phone's Android or iOS Bluetooth settings.
- Triple click the Action button and hold for 10 seconds.
- You will feel the vibration when the Echo Loop resets and turns off and then another vibration as it turns back on.
To confirm that the reset was successful click the action button. If the reset was successful, Alexa says, "Hello. To get started, go to the Alexa app and add a new device."
