Connect Your Amazon Tap to a Wi-Fi Hotspot

If you're not near your home Wi-Fi network, connect your Amazon Tap to a Wi-Fi hotspot.

1. Go to the settings menu on your phone, and search for a Wi-Fi hotspot.
2. Copy the network name and hotspot password.
3. Open the Alexa app.
4. Select Devices .
5. Select your Amazon Tap.
6. Select Change next to Wi-Fi Network. Choose from a list of available Wi-Fi networks.
7. Scroll down and select Use this device as a Wi-Fi hotspot.
8. Select Start, and then enter the network name and password and select Connect.
9. Go to your phone's settings menu, and turn on your Wi-Fi hotspot.

Alexa confirms a successful connection.
