Business Prime - Order with Same-Day Delivery

Business Prime members shipping to select metro areas can choose to receive FREE Same-Day or One-Day Shipping on eligible items.

Business Prime customers qualify by:

  • Ordering at least the stated minimum threshold of eligible items with the FREE Same-Day icon.
  • Placing orders before the Same-Day delivery order cutoff (typically noon); orders placed after the cutoff qualify for free One-Day Deliveries.

    The order countdown timer provides the time that you have to place the order, and receive it by the date shown. If there are inventory or delivery capacity changes before you order, the delivery date may be unavailable. Your confirmed delivery date is in your order confirmation email.

To ship to commercial addresses, opt in on your Amazon Business account:

  • As an account administrator, enable Same-Day Deliveries in the Delivery Preferences section of your Business Settings page. Delivery Preferences will apply to all new addresses created in your business account.
  • As a group administrator, you can enable Same-Day Deliveries for your groups from the Delivery Preferences option in Business Settings.
  • As a requisitioner, enable Same-Day Deliveries on individual addresses in Your Addresses.

Many commercial addresses require an attended delivery.

To order with free Same-Day Delivery:

  • Make sure that your address can receive FREE Same-Day Deliveries.
    1. Sign into your business account.
    2. Set a default address for your account, and select that address in the navigation bar at the top of each page.
    3. Ensure that the address is residential, or an eligible commercial address.
    4. Ensure that the address is within an eligible ZIP code for FREE Same-Day Delivery.

    You can set or update your default shipping address in Your Addresses. If FREE Same-Day is available for your default shipping address, you'll see the option on the product detail page and during checkout.

    Note:

    We'll provide Same-Day Delivery options that fall within your delivery hours if available. For example, if your delivery hours are 8 AM - 5 PM, we'll offer a 10 AM - 3 PM delivery slot, but not a 7 AM - 11 AM delivery slot. You'll see the following and can choose a time outside of your business hours:

  • Find eligible items by searching or filtering. While shopping, look for items that display the Prime FREE Same-Day icon. Choose the Prime FREE Same-Day checkbox within the search filter menu. You can browse for Same-Day or One-Day eligible items on the Same-Day homepage.
  • Meet the stated order minimum threshold. Add at least the stated minimum threshold of Same-Day-eligible products to your cart. Only items with the Same-Day or One-Day icon count toward the stated minimum threshold and are eligible for FREE Same-Day or One-Day deliveries.
  • Select FREE Same-Day at checkout. Proceed to checkout. Select FREE Same-Day Delivery (or FREE One-Day Delivery if it's after the order cutoff time) as your shipping option.

  • Same-Day delivery is available most days of the year. There is some limited availability on certain holidays and high-volume shopping days (for example, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Prime Day). Same-Day delivery will not be available on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
  • Commercial addresses are only eligible when you have opted-in to this delivery option in Business Settings. P.O. boxes, APO, FPO, and DPO addresses are not eligible.
  • If your order is under the stated minimum threshold, or you're not a Business Prime member. you can purchase Same-Day Deliveries. Refer to Same-Day Delivery Rates.
  • Sometimes, choosing a higher quantity for an item may make it ineligible for Same-Day Deliveries because multiple units may not be available locally. The option to choose Same-Day Delivery will be unavailable. Other Business Prime shipping options will be available.
  • If there are repeated delivery attempt failures, we may remove the Same-Day Delivery option for some commercial addresses.
