Set Up Your Surprise Settings

Set up your Surprise Settings so you don't know what gifts your guests buy for you.

The Don't spoil my surprises setting is on by default. Your gift purchases will remain a secret for several weeks. The item will continue to appear as Unpurchased in your list. If you try to buy an item already gifted to you, we'll warn you to avoid duplicate purchases.

  1. Go to Your Lists
  2. Select the relevant list.
  3. Select the three dots menu and select Manage List.
  4. Check or uncheck Don't spoil my surprises.
  5. If Keep purchased items on your list is checked, uncheck it.
  6. Select Save Changes.

Note: The Purchased Item filter and warnings only will appear while you're logged in to your account. If you don't sign in, your list may reveal a surprise.
