Turn Off Communications for Specific Alexa Devices
Use the Alexa app to deactivate Communications on a specific device.
- Open the Alexa app
. - Select Devices
. - Select the Device Type filter.
- Select Echo & Alexa.
- Select your device.
- Select Settings icon
- Select Communication.
- Turn off Communication.
- Turn off Announcements to stop broadcast messages to your device.
- Turn off Drop In to stop household members and contacts from connecting to your device.
Disabling Communications turns off all communication options on your device.
