Manage Contributions for Your Wedding Registry

You can manage and redeem Group Gifting contributions for any item in your Wedding Registry.

You can view Group Gift contributions by selecting the items in your Wedding Registry or by opening your Thank You List. You'll see the names and addresses of people who have contributed or bought items from your registry, if your guests have opted into sharing their information.

Note: Each item enabled for Group Gifting has a dollar amount for contributions received so far and is marked 'fully funded' when you've received enough contributions to purchase the item.

Only the primary registry owner can redeem contributions. Until you redeem contributions, you can't use the balance to purchase an item. To redeem Group Gift contributions directly from the item in your registry:

  1. Select the item.
  2. Select Apply to your balance.
  3. Select Add to Cart and proceed to checkout.

Prices are subject to change and are only confirmed when the order is placed. If the price of an item is less than the amount contributed for the item, the remainder is applied to the primary registry owner's Amazon.com balance. If the price of an item, including taxes, shipping costs, and any applicable fees, is more than the amount contributed for the item, the registry owner must pay the difference.

Note: The displayed price for an item enabled with Group Gifting appears higher than the prices listed on the detail pages of these items. This is because there is a 10% charge applied to cover any sales taxes. If the sales tax calculated and due on an item is less than the 10% charge, the difference is applied to the primary registry owner's Amazon.com Electronic Gift Card balance. If it's more, the registry owner must pay the difference.
