Maintaining Your Amazon Echo Dot Kids Edition (2018 Edition) (“Amazon Echo Dot Kids Edition” hereafter)

The Amazon Echo Dot Kids Edition and its included accessories are not toys. Children should be supervised to ensure proper use. Parents should also routinely check to confirm that the Amazon Echo Dot Kids Edition shows no signs of damage and is in safe condition for use by children. The Amazon Echo Dot Kids Edition is not suitable for children under age 3.

DO NOT GET WET. Do not use your Amazon Echo Dot Kids Edition near sinks or other wet or highly humid locations. Take care not to spill any food or liquid on your Amazon Echo Dot Kids Edition and do not put any object filled with a liquid, such as a vase, on or near your Amazon Echo Dot Kids Edition. If your device does get wet, carefully unplug all cables without getting your hands wet and wait for the device to dry completely before plugging it in again. Do not attempt to dry your Amazon Echo Dot Kids Edition with an external heat source, such as a microwave oven or hair dryer.

Exercise caution when using the power adapter. The Amazon Echo Dot Kids Edition is shipped with an adapter. Parents should not permit children to connect or handle the adapter or USB cable until they are old enough to do so safely. The adapter with its included cable could present a strangulation hazard. Keep out of reach of young children. Keep the device and its power adapter in a well ventilated area and away from heat sources.

Your Amazon Echo Dot Kids Edition may get warm during normal use. To reduce the effect of the warming, place your Amazon Echo Dot Kids Edition on a heat resistant surface.

Using Your Amazon Echo Dot Kids Edition Around Other Electronic Devices

Amazon Echo Dot Kids Edition generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency (RF) energy and, if not used in accordance with its instructions, may cause interference to radio communications and electronic equipment. We warrant the Device against defects in materials and workmanship under ordinary consumer use for two years from the date of original retail purchase.
