Turn Hunches for Your Smart Home Devices On or Off

Hunches is on by default. You can turn it off in the Alexa app, or by voice. Say "Disable Hunches."

To turn Hunches on or off in the Alexa app:

  1. Open the Alexa app .
  2. Open More and select Settings .
  3. Scroll down and select Hunches.
  4. Select Settings .
  5. Under Suggestions, turn on or off hunch notifications.
Tip: Alexa can proactively act on hunches when you make them automatic actions. For example, if you're away or asleep, Alexa can automatically turn on or off lights or adjust other smart home devices for you.
