Connect Your IR Headphones to the In-Car Entertainment with Fire TV built-in

Turn on IR LEDs to connect your IR headphones to the In-Car Entertainment with Fire TV built-in.

Note: IR LEDs are turned off by default.

IR LEDs aren’t available for the following vehicles:

  • Ford Expedition
  • Lincoln Navigator
  • BMW: i7 Series, and 7 Series

To turn on IR LEDs:

  1. Go to Settings on your In-Car Entertainment with Fire TV built-in.
  2. Select Display & Sounds.
  3. Select IR LEDs.
  4. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions to finish connecting your IR headphones.
