Sign Up for Prime Access

Get all of Prime’s benefits like fast, free delivery, unlimited streaming, exclusive savings and more, at less than 50% cost off a Prime Membership.

To join Prime Access, you’ll need to verify your income or participation in one of the ten eligible Government Assistance programs for Prime Access by providing one of the following:

  • Income-verification: No document upload is necessary. Your information added to will be used to validate.
  • SNAP: Enter your SNAP EBT number and upload an image of your SNAPEBT card.
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI): Submit an image of the complete eligibility letter for Supplemental Security Income (it’s different from Social Security and SSDI).
  • Medicaid: Upload an image of your Medicaid eligibility letter.
  • Direct Express Debit Card: Share an image of your Direct Express Debit Card.
  • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF): Attach an image of your eligibility letter for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families.
  • National School Lunch Program (NSLP): Add an image eligibility a letter showing your current participation in the National School Lunch Program with your child's name and the school name.
  • Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP): Submit an image eligibility letter that confirms your qualified for Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program.
  • Women, Infants, and Children program (WIC): Include an image of the eligibility letter for the Women, Infants, and Children program.
  • TTANF: Image of Tribal assistance eligibility letter.
  • NAP: Upload image of Family Card for Puerto Rico's Nutrition Assistance Program.
  • Income Verification (Tax Transcript): To verify your income eligibility via Tax Transcript, you will need to upload Tax Transcripts on the Sheer ID website. Amazon will not receive these documents. Clicking the signup button will be redirected to the SheerID site to complete the verification process.

Note: Images should be legible. It must show the issue date (must be within the last 12 months) or the expiry date (must be valid), and the beneficiary’s name.

Take the following steps to sign up:

  1. Go to amazon.com/primeaccess.
  2. Select Get Started or Try Prime Access.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your eligibility.

After you verify your card or document, you can receive a discount on Amazon Prime.

Certain verifications require up to seven business days to confirm acceptance, and your confirmation will be shared via email. During this period, you’ll automatically receive access to all of Prime’s benefits until your verification is complete. If you reverify your eligibility every 12 months, you will continue to receive the discount. We'll send you an email when it's time to reverify your document.
