Recover Deleted Photos and Videos

If you delete photos or videos by mistake, recover them from the Trash, if they are not deleted permanently.

Deleted items from Amazon Photos are added to Trash and deleted permanently after 90 days. If your photos or videos are not deleted permanently, you can recover them by following these steps:

  1. Open Amazon Photos.
  2. Select Trash.
  3. Select any items you want to recover.
  4. Select Restore to restore the selected items.
Note: After items are permanently deleted, either by you or automatically after the 90-day Trash period, they cannot be recovered. There is no further backup to restore from.
