Can't Set Up Your Amazon Smart Oven

Can't complete setup or the Alexa app can't find your Amazon Smart Oven during setup.

  • Check that you have a supported Wi-Fi network. Amazon Smart oven only connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
  • Check whether the Wi-Fi icon on the oven is solid or blinking. If it is blinking, Wi-Fi connectivity is not yet complete.
  • There should be at least 12 in of space between your Amazon Smart Oven and your Echo device. The Echo device should be close enough that it can hear your cooking commands.
  • All other wireless devices should also be at least 12 in from your oven.
  • Check that you have the latest version of the Alexa app.
  • Make sure that you have Bluetooth and location services turned on for your mobile device.
  • For Android devices: turn off Low/Medium/Battery Saver power mode.
  • If the Alexa app can't find your device, press Settings on the keypad repeatedly to scroll through options until Start Set Up appears. Press Start to launch.
  • Make sure you select Oven during set up and not Microwave.
